Narine Gasparyan (Senior Fellow)

Narine Gasparyan (Senior Fellow) is a human rights lawyer. She holds an LLM from the University of London and is a fellow of the University of Nottingham. Narine worked for the Armenian Representative Office of American Bar Association CEELI Inc (ABA ROLI) for nearly 13 years. She managed different projects, including but not limited to judicial reforms projects, legal education reforms, advocacy, constitutional reforms and others. She holds an advocate license since 1999 and is a member of the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia. Narine has taken a number of cases to the European Court of Human Rights (cases involve alleged violations of Articles 3 (also for the reasons of improper conditions of prisons) 5, 6, 10, 11 and others. Key cases include: Sargsyan v. Azerbaijan, Hakobyan and others v. Armenia and others.
